Northern Ireland 1986-87

Here is a colection of photographs I took whilst serving in Belfast, N.Ireland between 1986 and 87

This has to be one of the most stressful, frightening and bravest jobs in the world, Bomb Disposal. The area is cordoned off and made as safe as possible. Then these guy's have to approach the bomb not knowing whether it's a remote device; how it's constructed and what size it is. He needs to think like the bomb maker to out smart him, one mistake and it's his last. To me, these men are the bravest on the planet.
